They are made in the USA from 10 gauge steel and ship to your door as a complete kit with heavy duty galvanized hardware for longer life. All the necessary hardware is included for easy assembly and installation. SafRoom tornado shelters feature durable powder coated panels, grade 5 bolts and hardware, carpeting, and a battery operated LED light for comfort and safety. The entry door has a 24-inch x 80-inch opening to make entry easy, is vented for ample air exchange, and swings out to maximum interior space. It also features a secure 3 bolt latch system that is lockable from the outside to allow the room to be used as a secure storage facility when not needed as a shelter.
